About Us
The Samuel F Morse Amateur Radio Club (SFMARC) was originally formed in Sacramento, CA by a group of radio amateurs that mainly enjoy operating CW. We wanted a way to bring others together who also have an interest in operating CW on-air, and share the love of Field Day, Bug Roundup, and both the NAQP and CQP.

Come and learn with the Samuel F. Morse Amateur Radio Club as Phil Sittner, KD6RM, builds a space-saving/stealth fence-mounted end-fed 80 meter antenna. This can be your solution to operate on 3.5 MHz from a restricted HOA or limited-space environment.
Phil will provide worksheets for all attendees:
To calculate velocity factor following measurements in the field.
To calculate antenna resonant lengths.
To measure actual antenna resonance.
To prune antenna to reach desired resonate frequency.
To point for 50 ohm feed line tap.
Phil KD6RM will provide the RG-6/U matching coax and connectors and Bob K6ZLY will provide 150 feet of antenna wire (suggest #14 THHN.) Everyone will be involved---all attendees will participate in the antenna build, installation and tuning. After attending this clinic, all attendees will have the skills and resources to build and install their own PS3545 80 meter antenna. Attendees need to bring a calculator, pen, chair and devote a couple of hours to the clinic. Facebook Event Page.

All Samuel F. Morse ARC are enrolled into Ham Club Online. This is our improved members' management platform. Membership dues cover the current calendar year.
